Healdsburg 2040
The Foundation
This site provides a home for efforts to bring the AIA's Sustainable Design Assessment Team's (SDAT) recommendations to fruition. After the August 2018 visit of the team, the SDAT Steering Committee's work was complete. "Healdsburg 2040" became a rebranded identity for all the people who signed-up to implement the AIA's recommendations. Such an identity was required to carry the promise of the SDAT. Following the arrival of the Final Report in late November the Working Groups sought opportunities to pursue the "low hanging fruit." The task of evaluating the recommendations with the City requires a thoughtful and reliable partnership. Healdsburg 2040 is the vehicle to hold that work going forward.
On the SDAT web site you can find the history of how we got here. There are links to the SDAT program description, the original grant application, bios of the AIA team members, and press coverage of Healdsburg's SDAT. It holds the story of how Healdsburg’s residents engaged SDAT.
